Mission Statement:

The Squire Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, believes that all students in American elementary and secondary schools should have an opportunity to study philosophy because it teaches us not what to think but how to think; that is, to critically and systematically examine and reflect on our beliefs so we can act responsibly.

Since 2007, SFF has been working with philosophers educators, and administrators to make this vision a reality.
