Grant Awards:
The Squire Family Foundation has announced its inaugural round of grantmaking.
Dr. Thomas E. Wartenberg, professor of philosophy at Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA, was awarded a three-year grant to continue his work on philosophy for children.

The Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University was awarded a grant for curriculum development. They will prepare, test and distribute an all-in-one curriculum guide for an 'Introduction to Philosophy' course, which will be available on the Squire Family Foundation website in 2011.
